Art from the Pirelli World
Location: the “Pirelli Lounge” at the Kempinski Hotel in Saint Moritz
Pirelli’s identity is made up of passions: from tyres to racing, art to sport, Pirelli Design to the famous Calendar. In a brief but evocative journey into Pirelli world, the exhibition will be displayed in the “Pirelli lounge” at the Kempinski Hotel in Saint Moritz from the 25th August to the 3rd September.
The exhibition is in two parts: the first being 70 images of 3 Pirelli Calendars photographed by Peter Lindbergh displayed in a special section dedicated to the photographer’s collaboration with The Cal™, celebrating his third contribution to the iconic calendar: 1996, 2002, 2017.
The second is “Pirelli Design” which is the evolution of the Pirelli PZero project, launched by Pirelli in the early 2000s. Its goal, in line with Pirelli’s strategic focus on the high-end car segments, is to increase the equity of the Pirelli brand by leveraging its technological know-how to develop targeted design projects in collaboration with a select number of partners that represent excellence in their respective areas of business, with the ultimate aim to offer products that are unique and iconic.
Synthesis of all Pirelli worlds is “Pirelli World”, a bi-annual publication, both on print and digital, which captures the forward-looking essence of Pirelli by covering new frontiers in technology, media, music, art, culture and industry. Contributors to our magazine are the most influential theorists, cultural leaders and prestigious companies.
The Kempinski Hotel is pleased to host the exhibition in the “Pirelli lounge”, with items developed by Pirelli Design with prestigious partners, featuring jewellery masterpieces and high-performance items.
